I spent most of my afternoon going through your article to configure my phone. Can really appreciate it that you mention to stick with your current apps if you already have strong habits! If something works for you, why change it?
Anyway, I’m writing you to let you know this article was highly valuable to me. At the end I felt proud and happy with my new set up! Have been enjoying it for a day and MY GUSH it is a relief! The apps I wasted most of my time on are out of sight, not flashing before my eyes like tasty Oreo cookies, hidden away deep into folders. Now they’re more ‘difficult’ to acces>takes more effort> inconvenient to start with. I put Medium, Podcasts, Memrise and Audible in the Toolbar. When I get bored and pick up the phone, all I see is productive or educational apps on screen 1, all easily within reach. ‘Today’ is being used and super useful since yesterday too. I love it! I checked Screen Time and the new setup is already having an extremely positive effect on my life. I’m so happy haha!
Thank you for taking the time to write all of this out ❤
